Now Everyone’s Talking Magic ✨

Beautiful Soul,

In January, through meditation and a process of inquiry, I found my word for the year of 2022: Make some magic! Ok, I know, that's 3 words, but hey, when my soul speaks, I listen!

It started off as a very powerful mantra for me. I even titled the theme for The Sanctuary as A Year of Magic and Meaning!

And since making that intention for myself, personally and in my programs, I am seeing magic everywhere!

In my own life, I feel like I'm just more attuned to appreciation. Colors seem a little brighter and my heart is lighter - that may sound corny but it's actually true....when I remember to look for the magic!

It's all around me. Available around any corner and in the most unexpected places. Not only that, but it is literally present at the touch of a fingertip. Magic is all over my social media newsfeeds, I see program after program speaking of it, I get emails every day where someone is talking about it. All the influencers, it seems, are invoking magic!

And just like everything, there are the naysayers too. A couple of weeks ago I got an email that had the subject line, "Magic is Boring".... (a topic for another day, but really?)

Am I just noticing it more because my attention in on magic, like when  you see so many red cars after you buy a red car? Or is it simply a part of our collective consciousness right now?

I kinda think it's a little of both. I opened myself up to magic by connecting through a practice that helped me to drop underneath my logical thought processes to discover it.  In that process I received a few very potent images and a felt sense of energy that had me bubbling with enthusiasm over seeing what "make some magic" could bring into my life.

And with all the drama and trauma alive in the world around us, maybe we all need something to add some sparkle, fun, and joy to our days.

I really believe that as more and more of us wake up in the world, we start to see that so much of what we've been told about who we are doesn't even begin to express our actual brilliance, unique potential, or downright magnificence.

We are in a time of opening our eyes wide, altering our perceptions, and waking up from the effects of the negative spells that have been cast to keep us small. 

That's pretty damn powerful magic! Do you agree?
